It was a chilly night at just past midnight on Saturday. Heekwon just finished some chicken wings and a beer. Ole is hardly awake but excited to introduce a special guest on the show.
To find out what happened next, watch the show.
Oh, and we also spend a lot of time discussing the impact of powerful PCs on game play and whether Heekwon would be unstoppable on Poco Loco’s computer.
I know the single biggest advantage I have in gaming is my 74g Raptor drive. I am one of the first in any server in BF games and Counter Strike. Whats funny is Poco Loco and I have very similiar systems except that my processor is a bit slower, an AMD X2 4600+. I would not give up my all maxed out settings for graphics on BF2.

Heekwon just finished some chicked wings…? lol what is that?
Good one guys!!! I REALLY enjoyed this one!… Nothing like guys getting together talking about their computer hardware and BF2 gameplaying abilities. I liked the Heli video too… I’m going to go back and watch it again… Heekwon, we need to get a group together and record us playing for the Podcast!!!!
Again, better and starting to head in the right direction. I’m liking the whole idea of going from bf2 one week to 2142 the next, alternating makes the show good.
p.s. lol Ole, you guys will someway somehow forget to talk about the apache on ghostown some day.
Great podcast. I should note that RAM probably has a bigger impact on loading times than HD speed, since lack of RAM makes the game have to constantly switch models and textures in and out of memory and that’s where the HD speed kicks in.
Other than that… about BF3, I should note that some “community centers” are already forming around it, there’s, for instance, the IRC channel #BF3 on irc.quakenet.org and http://www.bf3forums.com/ (not very active yet, though).
Hopefully, assuming the PDF is true, the podcast should be getting something new to talk about come January of next year… Keep up the great work!
Hey guys, Iam digging the new raw format. Just a few diehard gamers sitting around talkin rigs, games, beer, whatever you got, sweet. I also like no adds being worked into the conversation (all right now it time to s*** some cache fly ***k), yes I know funding needs to happen but…
In my opinion some advertising is okay, as long as it doesn’t overwhelm the Podcast. Realizing that $$$ would help to improve the technical side of things.
I find on low settings theres less coverage and such, but with high settings i can see farther and see shadows. I mostly snipe so i kind mix up settings up to what works i dont crank everything low or high.
I like the podcast better now . Its the way it was before all the junk adds and goodnessssssssss. drove me nuts… Good luck guys your doing a great job .Thanks Ron
